Aker BP is planning to drill 12-14 exploration wells on the NCS in 2018. The company will follow up their Frosk-discovery in the North Sea with two more wells before the end of the year. They are always looking for discoveries to bolster their producing assets, and are also exploring several prospects with stand alone potential.
